About New Connexions

New Connexions is a national network of small evangelical churches seeking to grow and multiply through effective communication of the gospel within local communities. We began in 2005, when two denominations, the Wesleyan Reform Union and the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion, decided to form a spiritual alliance in order to support each other in our work for Christ.

We firmly believe that it is possible for small churches to grow and make a difference in the area in which they serve. By making “New Connexions” with other small churches in this network, we believe there will be real benefits for participating churches.

One bright flame may make a difference to an area of a large city, but many tiny flames burning faithfully in small towns and villages can make a difference to a nation!
